New Market Street

This is a George Warren Blackham painting showing the premises of J Carter (die and steel engraver, medallist). Obviously it's a street either long gone or renamed as I can't find an exact location for New Market Street. Can anyone locate this please ? Thanks. Viv.

Thanks MWS. I at first thought that might be St Phillips in the distance but thought it can't be as I had it in my mind that New Market Street must have been near the Bull Ring.

So thanks for clarifying the position near Great Charles Street. The street name must be making reference to an early market.

Viv.
