This year saw the departure of Betton Grange 6880 from Tyseley Works finally completed after a long period of construction and financial support from the society responsible for its construction.
The Grange GWR 4-6-0 class disappeared from the network, and the class became extinct. This new build has created a new example for a type that was once seen in this district.
At Tyseley now the Unknown Warrior, a Patriot Class new build is now there for completion after a lengthy build program.
