New Birmingham Park opened

I took a few shots earlier

Briefly heard council leader Sir Albert Bore talking about how they started the Eastside project in 1999. Including plans for a new park! Took 14 years to this point!

The photo's are great will have to pay a visit thanks for posting them.

Glad you like them.

If you are walking from town, go from Moor Street Queensway, past Hotel La Tour (a pedestrianised part of what was Albert Street). Head down Park Street (be careful of the traffic), and the park is straight ahead.

You can also come from the other end of Park Street near Masshouse, or from Selfridges, walk under the bridge that carries Moor Street Station, and head up Park Street.

If going by car, there is a new multi-storey car park near Millennium Point, but there are road works on Jennens Road for the Cardigan Street junction, so might be a diversion.
