hi alberta them dates sound right frank nash was my grans step son
her name was florence shenton frank married lucy shenton in 1918.
grahams sister was carol who went to america and is still there.
are we matching up.?

Keith I don't know where Florence shenton comes into it,but the parents of Graham amd Carol A Nash are Frank E Nash and LouilleShenton ,this may be Lucy as I can find no birth for a Louille.
They married in 1936 not 1918.
As Florence was the stepmother of Frank she obviously married his father what was his name.I can find no marriage Shenton/Nash.

i was rushing saturday and got it all wrong frank nash wife was lucy nash formely cainies her father was benjamin shenton they married 1912 lucys mom died 1918 and then in 1919 benjaminshenton married florence spratt
and she then became a shenton making lucy my grans step daughter.
lucy also had a brother benny and a sister amy.
graham and carol are our cousins hope i have explained it better today.
are you one of franks children.

I hope you are not offended but could I suggest you read through what you post before submitting.
You are getting some of your surnames confused.
Frank Nash married Lucy(you say formerly Caines),it should be Shenton.
Her mother was formerly Caines.

Benjamin Shenton married Amy Caines 1912
children
Amy born 1913
Benjamin 1916
Lucy Shenton mothers maiden name Caines b. 1918.

Amy Shenton died December 1918 age 25

Benjamin Shenton married Florence Spratt 1919
children
James W 1920
Catherine 1923
Margaret 1926
Dennis 1929
and your mother Florence A in 1924
