Mystery PIC

Hi Bernie

Its on Warwick Rd in Greet at the bottom of St Johns Rd looking up Mountford St.

Kelly’s has William Henry Hyde and Sons Newsagent, 189 Warwick Road, Greet, TN Victoria 0710 Greet in 1943.

Up to November 1940 this was my Dad's Wallpaper and paint shop or in the jargon of the time 'oil and colour merchant ', his name was W G. Lewis. The shop was damaged in November 1940,I believe on the night of the BSA Raid, the 19th, my 4th birthday. Myself and parents had to move out,to grandparents in Harborne and never went back. We used to shelter when air raids were on in the beer cellar of the 'outdoor' on the opposite corner of Mountford St. I can smell the beer and dust every time I hear an air raid siren
