I am searching for the parents and siblings of my husband's GGG Grandmother Maria MYERS who was born about 1784 in Birmingham.
Maria married David AARON about 1807 when her first child Clara was born.
She died on 9 Feb 1857 and left a Will.
Her children were Clara, Elizabeth[Betsy], Sophia [Sophie], Maurice [Morris],
John, Isaac, Juliana [Julia], Emma, Henry and Rose who died in infancy.
We would love to know to which Myers Family Maria belonged.

On the 1851 census staying with Maria is Sarah Myers, shown as her grandaughter age 3 born in Portsmouth. There are 2 Sarah Myers born in Hampshire June quarter 1848 Hampshire ref 7 165
and one less likely is September quarter 1849 Hampshire ref 7 137

I found a Thomas and Sarah Mayres christening their daughter Sarah Ann 12th March 1848 in Bramley Hampshire.

Thank you Di.
You have found our Maria AARON. David and Maria AARON's daughter Juliana married Jacob MYERS born about 1810 in Strasburgh, Prussia and Sarah MYERS was their daughter.
In 1851 Census Sarah was staying with her grandmother Maria Aaron, her Uncle Isaac Aaron and Maria's Sr. in Law Sarah AARON.

Maria AARON [nee MYERS] was born in Birmingham. Her maiden name was "MYERS" according to "The Franklin Family and Collaterals".
It would be interesting to know if we are connected to another early MYERS family from Birmingham, that of Isaac MYERS [c1795].

dont know if this helps but there is a marriage at st. bartholemew edgbaston on 26 may 1826 of isaac aaron to martha flint.

witnesses were louisa and emma flint, and edward and mary ann aaron

Shera,
Thank you. You have given me some helpful clues especially the witnesses to Isaac AARON's marriage to Martha FLINT. Martha died in 1840 in Australia and Isaac was remarried to Catherine Mary CROAKER soon afterwards.
