Christine: My husband is David (Sam) Cookson who grew up at #17 Cheatham Street. He remembers the Morris family as follows: Norman and Nancy Morris lived at about #26/28 Cheatham Street with their daughters Margaret and Norma. Norman was killed in a car accident near the Baggott around 1960. Dave thinks Margaret would be about 70 and Norma about 58 now. Norman's Dad (known only as Mr. Morris) lived with the Nicholls family next door to Dave. There were also Morris's in Trevor Street, maybe Alf's family. In Cheatham Street there were Stokes's, Beatty (nee Morris) and Billy? Coulson (both died of cancer in mid 50's), and Morans all related to the Morris family (Moran's left the street about 1952). Dave's family went to Margate with the Morris's. If you send me an email, I will send you a photo we have with Norman and Nancy.
