This 1930s view is recognisable today. The shops on the Circle are still there although changed hands. The shop next to A.H. Hall was a Birmingham Co-operative Society shop. And the shop next to the Co-ol was a confectioners, S.J. Birch. A nice phone box example too. Viv.

My wife and I often drive through this small estate on our short journey into Harborne for the shopping and it really does fit the description of being idyllic. all the front gardens are well kept and there is never an instance of bad parking.
