Miss Keeling taught me at Adderley infants in the mid - late 1950's.
She lived in Hob Moor Road and was a very keen gardener. When she retired the school bought her a stainless spade which they had engraved! This must have been in the early 1960's. She had lost a thumb and finger on one of her hands when she fell off her pushbike.
Miss Keeling was an active member of (I think) the Girls Brigade and alwasy wore a navy blue two piece which I always thought was her Brigade uniform.
Does anyone have any recollections of her?
