Mills family of Sparkbrook

leslam

Brummie by marriage
I have found this photo in one of my many 'treasure' boxes.

mills_50pc.jpg

It is made into a postcard, and the reverse says:

From Mrs J Mills
4 Claremont PLace
Dolabran Rd
Sparkbrook
Birmingham

I guess that the date is around 1910?
Does this mean anything to anyone. Try as I might, I'm not sure where this fits into my research!

In 1901 census, Frederick Mills, widower (72) born Grafton,Warcks, was at no 5 claremont place , living as father in law with Charles Paxton. No 4 is then a john hinton. Possibly no connection though

Found them in 1911!
He's Thomas (30), saddle tree maker, born in Bisley, Glos and younger woman is Emily (31). Married 8 years with no children.
They had a boarder called age 68 called Ann Darby (widow)

Living at 4 Claremont, so guess the picture was probably taken about 1911 then
