Dear All,

Hope someone can help with my search.

I am trying to contact my GrandFather. His name is Frank Miller.

I'm afraid details are a bit sketchy as my Grandma does not speak of him and my mother has no photos etc....

I believe originally he was from London. But moved upto the midlands.

He had his own fleet of coaches which I believe were called Millerways coaches. I believe his business partners surname was Ways.

I believe in the the late 1940's he would of been around 36 years of age. And if he was still alive today he would be aged 96.

He had only one child with my Grandma and my mums name is Wendy Ann Miller before she got married.

I am aware she had try to contact him around 40 years ago but had no luck.

The only memory my Mum has is that he always would wear brogue shoes and drive a Jag so good taste even in the 1940's :D

Any help is much appreciated Rappy

No mention of him in the 1949 or 1950 Kellys. In the 1950 edition 37 Formans road was a plumber. In 1962 37 Forman road was Hemingways Coaches (birmingham)

Many thanks for the replies ;)

Have just called my Mum and she thought it was Allen Ways & Miller Ways coaches.

But I think have viewed both the pdf's it must of been Hemming Ways

& Miller Ways coaches.

Any ideas where else I can research and hopefully find some pics for my Mum and for myself. Very curious as I have never met my grandad.

Many Thanks Rappy
