MILLARD Lesley George 1896 and siblings.

I am trying to trace my grand father and his siblings. It transpires there are more than we thought.

I know of Herbert Willaim Millard ( born 1899) BHC, his family is Canada.

Lesley George Millard, my grandfather, i can trace to 1912 to Bracebridge Street and later in life to Wellfield Rd, but i know little or nothing about in between. I am aware he lived in Durham for a short while.

There also appears to be four sisters,
Daisy E. Millard born 1904
Violet E.Millard 1905 (born in Booth Street)
Ivy Rose Millard 1906 (born in Foundary Rd)
Ruby May Millard 1908

Can anyone help with more information on them?

Only thing I can see for Leslie, is a possible on the 1901 census where he was a boarder with Herbert Millard age 2 and Ellen Millard age 31, at a Chandlers shop, run by Mary Elizabeth Cuthbert at 22 Demesne Street, Poulton cum Seacombe, Cheshire, reg district Wallasey and Birkenhead. He was born in Sathill Yorkshire aas was Herbert.

Hi both,

Yes i have both of those cencus and the Herbert William mentioned was sent to Canada in 1911 (hence he isn't shown on the cencus, but is counted in the total amount of children they had.) I have no idea why only Herbert was sent and not my grandfather. He was sent from Middlemore home and i have traced his life and family in Canada rather well. I am waiting fot the library to become operational again in September, so hopefully i can find out more about him from their records.

The four sisters are complete nesw to my sister and myself..had no idea about them, hence starting to trace the Millards/Mossons etc.....

Can anyone trace George William further back? His name keeps changing to William and Millard is often mis spelt...so i am struggling to find out where he was born...
