Middlemore Children's Home record book

Can anyone help me please?
I have just discovered that 5 ancestors became Middlemore Home Children, all being sent out to Canada. I have been looking on the internet to learn about the home in Birmingham and on one website there was a picture showing a page from the old record book. Incredibly, that image happened to show part of the entry for one of my ancestors and now that I know of this books existence i would like to check out my ancestor's entries in full.
Can anyone advise me please where the book might be held in order to be able to take a look at it?

There are some records held at Birmingham Central Library Archives (see here http://www.formerchildrenshomes.org.uk/middlemore_emigration_homes.html ) but access varies depending on the date because of the 100 year rule.
