Has anyone a picture or photo of this chapel which I believe no longer exists? Or can anyone identify whre this chapel was situated? Family marriage here in May 1937. Stubbs:beam:
Weslyan methodist chapel was on the north side between green lane and grange road. as on the map. rhere was also one at coventry road, haymills, between nos 195 and 197.
Demolished about 1963 or 64. I got thrown out of the Cubs there after about an hour, must be a record eh ! Heres another pic, Theres a a supermarket there now .
The Church on the corner of Jenkins St is still there I think, but I'm pretty sure that was a Babtist Church.
Brilliant! I think that's the one. We have a photo presumably taken from the other side in a kind or garden with part of the church showing. Do you know if there was a garden at the back?
