Mc Cracken Frank Army or Navy in 1920. Lived in Walford rd, sparkbrook, mum Flora

tsarah

knowlegable brummie
Frank Mc Cracken was born in 1900 as Frank Holmes Mc Cracken. His mum was Flora Mc Cracken, b: 1878 (in 1907 married a Thomas Sydney Humphreys) and dad is unknown. The family always believed (pre taking a peek at the census!);) Frank was my grandma, Maria Farmer, b:1855, nee kirby's son. In 1920, he's an absent voter from 111, Walford Road, Sparkbrook. I can't find him in the military records.

Family myth/legend says he might have emigrated to Australia, whether with his mum, am not sure. His half-sister, Ada Humphreys is listed at the Walford Rd address in 1911 too.

Any ideas of where to move on from here? Any lost Farmers or Humphreys are always welcome for a cup of tea:biggrin:. Thanks a lot
