Frank Mc Cracken was born in 1900 as Frank Holmes Mc Cracken. His mum was Flora Mc Cracken, b: 1878 (in 1907 married a Thomas Sydney Humphreys) and dad is unknown. The family always believed (pre taking a peek at the census!)
Frank was my grandma, Maria Farmer, b:1855, nee kirby's son. In 1920, he's an absent voter from 111, Walford Road, Sparkbrook. I can't find him in the military records.
Family myth/legend says he might have emigrated to Australia, whether with his mum, am not sure. His half-sister, Ada Humphreys is listed at the Walford Rd address in 1911 too.
Any ideas of where to move on from here? Any lost Farmers or Humphreys are always welcome for a cup of tea:biggrin:. Thanks a lot
