This 1912 photo is slightly incorrectly labelled, should be Mary Road, not ‘Marys Road’. Must have been a very attractive and elegant road when fully lined with trees with their wrought iron protectors. The trees that still remain are no longer saplings, and quite a few seem to have been removed to allow for off-street parking. The house at the bottom has, like many in this road, been replaced with more modern houses.
