Can i have an electoral role check please for Emma (born 1880/1) starting 1912 may be with Husband William although he dies 1917 so she'd be on her own after this, thank you, from the pest lol

Unfortunately women didn't have the vote in 1912, and so, although a few women were included in the electoral roll, on a separate list, for property-owning reasons, they were not included in general. the three Emme Martins that were listed did not correspond to any of the William Martins of that Year.
I did think to try william martins in 1912 who were at the same address ar Emma Martins in 1920 (on the rather dubious assumption that she stayed at the same address). There was only one correspondance, at 67 Wellington road, where william Martin was registered in 1912, and Emma Elizabeth Martin in 1920. In 1920 there was also William horatio Martin and John Horatio Martin. In 1925 emma is there with William Horatio and Angela Florence Martin. she disappears in 1930 and only emma elizabeth martin listed is a different one .Don't know if this fits in with who you are looking for
