Marston green homes

My father-in-law Francis William Wainwright entered the Marston Green Homes somewhere between 1914 and 1930, it is believed his brothers James, Norman and Leslie also entered about the same time. Does anyone have information on this period or is there anyone who would have known/heard of these boys? Francis Wainwright left, possibly in 1930 to lodge with a Mrs Talbot in Birmingham and subsequently became a Cabinet Maker and married Rosina Elizabeth Dovey. I am trying to do our family tree but have been unable to trace this family.
