Any information (e.g. witnesses) about the marriage of James Milnes and Hannah Mears, 17 Feb 1811. Would be much appreciated.

Hello Barb welcome to the forum.

They were both of the parish, spinster and batchelor. James signed his name and Hannah made her mark.

The witnesses were Joseph Geisne ? unsure of his surname maybe Shera will take a look. The other was William Corbett.
 
hi barb and wendy, ive had a look as well and cant see what it is any better than you wendy. i would say its grisne or geisne :rolleyes:
 
Sometimes yes they were not family members they could of course be distant I have found cousins and brother in laws.
