Marriage lookup in 1794 please

Can someone please lookup the info from the following marriage please :

Richard Priory Bolton & Mary Baylis 2/1/1794 St Martin, Birmingham.

I would like to know if Richard is a bachelor or widower.

they signed their names and the witnesses were jane corbett and jos (presumably joseph or james) rabone?

This rules out this Richard Bolton being my ancestor. I will have to look for another Richard Bolton.

oh what a shame, i had found a couple of baptisms and burials from that family for you but now its no good. poor mary died by 1799. good luck in your search anyway

Yes that is a shame as you could of helped me further with those records you found.

My 4x G Grandad was John Bolton baptised in 1790 St Phillips, Birmingham. He has one sibling on the IGI named James baptised in 1791. Their parents are Richard & Mary. I am thinking that the marriage between Richard Boulton & Mary Whitehouse 19/5/1788 Handsworth, Stafford are my couple. I was also thinking that Mary died and Richard married again as Richard Priory Bolton.

Thank you for your help.

I originally thought that Richard Boulton baptised in 1794 was a son of Richard Priory Bolton. I can see now that in this baptism Richard Boulton is given as his father and not Richard Priory Boulton.
