Exiled Brummie
I have been searching for a Marriage between James Norton born 1799 & Elizabeth born 1787. My guess is that it could have been as early as 1817 but unlikely to be later than 1822.

James had two younger sisters both married St Martins, if there are any family details on these that would be a bonus.

Louisa Norton, born 22 Jul 1805: Married James Deakin, 5/5/1823.
Martha Norton, 17 Nov 1801: Married William Pickard, 27/5/1823.

unfortunately not a lot of info at these dates. the marriage of louisa norton to james deakin just states that both were "of this parish" and bachelor and spinster. the witnesses names were william pickard and martha norton. (the other two married that day)

martha norton and william pickard were also of this parish and bachelor and spinster. their witnesses were thomas baylis and mary deakin

sorry, no marriage of james and elizabeth.

Many thanks Shera, at least I can now concentrate the search for James & Elizabeth elsewhere, however after eliminating St Philips & St Martins the options look pretty thin.
