Hi!
I have a marriage between Sarah Llewellyn and James Whitehouse on 25 December 1839. Sarah's father is shown as Roger Llewellyn, a Steel Toy Maker. On the IGI I have found a baptism for Sarah in 1816 where her father is shown as Roger Llewellyn and her mother as Esther.
Is it possible, please, to find the marriage between Roger Llewellyn and Esther? I have been unable to find her surname but she appears to have come from Herefordshire, born c1787. I am assuming they were married between 1805 and 1815?
Any help would be much appreciated.
:)

Sarah LLewellyn and James Whitehouse marriage is recorded on FreeBMD
Dec 1839 qtr, Birmingham, Vol 16, page 440.

Hi gee-em
Thanks for that - now I need the marriage between Sarah's parents, which I'm guessing would be around 1810 - is it possible to find that in the Parish registers for St Martin's?
Cheers !!!

I know there is someone on here who can look up records at St Martins, hopefully they will read this thread and help:)

I have searched for Llewellyn marriages from 1800 to 1820 the only one I found was for George Llewellyn and Elizabeth Davis 16 NOV 1810. Sorry I couodn't find Rodger and Esther anywhere.

Thanks heaps Wendy - I guess they got married in Herefordshire !!

I shall keep loooking.

Cheers

Debbie
