Marriage look up please 16/11/1916

awww so sorry, the marriages for fellows on my records only go up to 1896 and lewis to 1902 :dft005:

Oh Just spent over 2 hours looking at army records for William Henry, where he clearly states his wife was Linda Lewis.....the old dog;)

he had even shown the guy in charge his wedding cert as they ticked it off.

Will have a cuppa and think on this one.
The Fellows' never do anything normal:cool:

it must be right then derek, he must have called himself harry for the marriage i suppose, using his middle name :rolleyes:
 
have looked on the electoral rolls and it is william henry fellows with linda fellows in 1920 and 1925 8 back of 7 lennox street.

will list later addresses if you wish :)

leox Street is the address I have taken from the records, they also lived for a while 37ct 5 house summer lane.
He was shot in the head in the war and survived.:stare:

Just hoping he is my Gt G/father when I tie things up.

ps have 2 william henrys' one gt grandad, other 2 x gt grandad, but would have been too old
 
well there is only one address afterwards...10 waltham grove, perry barr

1930 henry and linda fellows

1945 henry, linda and leslie

1950 just linda and leslie
 
that is still Harry not William HENRY, what are they playing at :stressed:

I have the page saved from his army records that shows his name and address, will try to post it for you.

its no problem if you wish to post it on this thread but obviously he just called himself william, henry or harry as it suited :rolleyes: i presume it is the same person though. do you know if he had a son leslie?
 
i think william henry, henry and harry are the same person.

you could send for the birth cert of leslie i suppose
 
Thanks Shera as always for your 1st class help.

I will wait until tomorrow as I have a death cert expected which I think now is the wrong one ( for another person) so will look into his records more tomorrow to make sure I order correctly
