I have been to the library to-day and have viewed the actual church register for this marriage entry; Robert George Jones, a 24 yr old bachelor, and a tin smith of 246 Mayvale Road, Bournville, married Mabel May Campkin, a 24 yr old spinster, and a chocolate worker of 287 Pershore Road, Selly Park on the 2nd April 1906 at the congregational church, Watford Road, in the district of Kings Norton. Robert's Father was Jeremiah Jones, a moulder. Mabel's Father was John Campkin, a farmer. Both Robert and Mabel signed the register as did Vera Campkin, May Elizabeth Jones and Jeremiah Jones. John Osmore Morgans was the minister.

Regards

Steve
