I am totally new to this type of enquiry, so apologies if I get it wrong.

I'm needing info about the marriage of Ann Simkins to Enoch Marshall on 23 May 1836 at St. Martin's in Birmingham, particularly their ages.

I am no expert on all this but in my limited time doing this I have found the only way to get more information is to apply for a copy of the marriage certificate.

unfortunately the details on the marriage certificate are very basic

enoch marshall (bachelor) and ann simkins (spinster) of this parish married in this church 23 may 1836

witnessed by thomas lowe and robert powell

do you think this is your family

on igi records there is a christening of enoch marshall 20 oct 1816 in wednesfield parents george and jane marshall

Thanks again for your help. I'm wading my way through loads of paper. I've found another family with Enoch and Ann as parents and I think they are in my family.
