Hi, would a marriage record from 1826 tell me any other information than the bride and grooms names? I am looking for Charles Howard and Sarah Pearman who married on 19th November 1826 at St Martin's Church. Would this church have been the closest to them as Charles was from Handsworth (although Sarah was from Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire)

Any help would be appreciated as I'm throughly stuck!
 
The early records don't give fathers names. It states Charles and Sarah were both single and of the parish of St Martins. The witnesses were Joseph and Mary Hill.
