Hi Everyone,
Could someone please lookup a marriage record for Elizabeth Lowell & William Pride 25 Sept 1785 & also a christening record for William Pride Ralph 14 Oct 1795 both at St Martins.
Any extra info would be much appreciated.
Sheryl

william pride of this parish bachelor and elizabeth lonrell (could be lowell but thats what it looks like to me) of this parish spinster were married by banns 25 sep 1785

witnesses were susanna morris and samuel brooke

the baptism is 14 oct 1795 william pride son of john and elizabeth ralph .... thats it im afraid, no extra info

i also noticed a burial at st. martins of maria daughter of john and elizabeth ralph on 10 feb 1799

and mark son of john and elizabeth ralph buried 5 dec 1800

there may be more but very difficult to read a lot of the records

Hi Shera,
Thanks so much for your time & prompt reply. Even the fact that you mention these records are hard to read is helpful & explains why it is so difficult to find records we know should be there. We're pretty certain Elizabeth's surname was Lowell as 3 of her children had the middle name of Lowell. The burial records are great too as we didn't know before what happened to Maria & we didn't even know about Mark so that gives us another lead to follow.
Thanks a million from a Kiwi with Birmingham roots!

found another burial at st. martins

william son of john and elizabeth ralph buried 20 mar 1814 aged 19yrs little hampton street.

and a couple more baptisms
aaron son of john and elizabeth ralph baptised 14 sep 1807
moses son of john and elizabeth ralph baptised 14 sep 1807

some of the pages are faded or the writing is illegible so there will always be some records which cannot be found.
all the best, shera

Hi Shera,
This William is the right age to be William Pride Ralph so nice to know what happened to him. And 2 more possible children for this family as well! Fantastic! Thanks so much once again.
