First time posting here and hoping this is right place to get things going.
Following on from a suggestion from a member here I have edited my post, thankyou John Young.

I only have small amount of knowledge on my great great grandfather Thomas Mabbutt, that info coming from King Dick Tools and a now deceased cousin.
Thomas Mabbutt owner/founder of King Dick Tools in the mid to late 1800's, its is said he came from Abingdon on Thames to Birmingham year unknown. He was also known for having a show winning Bulldog called Abingdon King Dick. Although my focus is on my surname any further info I can find or get about him would be of much interest.
Thomas Mabbutt was born on 25th January 1829 and died 16th January 1909 aged 80yrs

Thanks

Craig Miller
