Hi John, Got up a little bit early this am and found your message re
Mitchell & Butler's War Memorial. Had a look at the Great War Forum
and found there are many posts about the War Memorial. You have to register

About two thirds of the book published in 1919, 'The Birmingham City Battalions Book of Honour' contains the Rolls of Honour of very many Birmingham Firms and Institutions. The pages for Mitchells and Butlers, Cape Hill Brewery, contains the list of 1156 employees who served in the forces during WW1. The Memorial commemorates 136 employees who were killed in WW1.
