Its a nice idea but i find it rather distracting when trying to read posts.

If you switch off 'holiday mode' (disable holiday styling) in your forum settings you won't see them. I switched it off at Christmas to clear the snow and never switched it back on ....

Yes, I switched mine off a good while ago, it's a nice idea but I find it distracting
