I’m still trying to find the parents of Thomas Lorton, born c1809
Below is all the info I now have - maybe someone can help to sort this out!
I will try to be concise and logic here….
From IGI:
Thomas born 2/11/1808, christened 6/10/1809 St. Phillips - parents Thomas / Ann
Thomas born ,, christened 28/8/1809 St. Phillips - parents John / Alice.
Thomas Lorton married Martha Slater - but on the IGI I found the marriage under LAUGHTON (3/07/1826 St Phillips)
Thomas and Martha had a child (among several) - William Owen Lorton (born 28/11/1826 - St Martins, info from Shera)
Now it becomes interesting…
Shera found me children of OWEN and Charlotte Lorton (born between 1806 - 1814) at St Pauls and St martins….John, Harriet and Jane - but no Thomas..
On IGI, I have found the marriage of Owen and Charlotte - once again under LAUGHTON!!!
(20/05/1805)
This is getting too much of a coincidence……..:angry2:
