Hi, I am looking for information on John Lortons father. Did you find out anything about John

There are some trees on Ancestry that suggest that the father of John Thomas Lorton b1927 was a Frederick Lorton but there are some anomalies.

He appears to be registered with mmn as Gorton, which may possibly should be Horton. If this is so, then that would make Frederick more likely.

So are you looking for genealogy help tracing Frederick or more personal info - pictures and memories etc?

Photos really, trying to trace families that my relatives remember from when they lived in Birmingham using mainly census records

Hopefully, you'll have some luck with the photos, can be a bit of a waiting game.

If you get stuck with your tracing then there are many members who might be able to help.

Hiya Linden - haven't been here for ages.
His sister moved to Bristol to be with her children, and his brother died a few years back without offspring.
If you want photos of John and his parents (Frederick and Jessie) please pm me and I will supply (he is part of my family)
Is he any relation to you - or was he just a neighbour?

Cheers!
