Millwards.

:) There were Millwards in Holte road Aston many years ago. The son was Ronald and I think the daughters name was Beryl. Would they be the family you have in mind. My friend Betty may know of their whereabouts. Bye for now. Jean. :)

Millwards

GeeGee, the Millwards you mention may be the ones l've been looking for, as the Coates's lived in that area Church Lane and Villa Road..and the name Beryl has got my grey matter working , the name must have been mentioned years ago, any info you can give me would be greatley appreciated....Brenda

Brenda I knew a David Millward at Aston Commerical School, and later his sister Eileen who was a few years older than David when I worked at Norton Motors, I am not sure of their exact address but is was very near Aston Parish Church, could have been Aston Hall Road, but it was certainly in that vicinity.

Ok what's going on???

I searched and found load of information about the Millwards, put it on this thread and now it's gone.

What happened to it??

Mrs. T. there is another thread asking about Millwards, I have not long seen it - may be in Welcome - type Millward in the search box and you will probably find it.

Millwards

Sylvia, this may well be the Millwards l've been looking at,as they all seem to have lived in that same area, the Coates's were all around that area,l guess that many years ago families stayed within a stones throw of each other, l'm still hoping to find out more of this side of the family, the last time l remember meeting my grt/aunt Fanny Millward was at my G/f William C Coates funeral in 1946,so as you can imagin l'v got some catching up to do.....l'll just keep digging....Brenda

Millwards

Brenda. I was ACS 1951/52 so I guess David would be between 70/72 now, and Eileen was married during the time I was at Norton Motors/Shelleys I was there 1954/57. Olive knew Eileen better than me, but unfortunately she has dementia now so I can't find out her married name for you, sorry.

Brenda, I have just had a thought, have you looked at Streets of Aston, 1920 on the main site, it lists all family names of people of voting age at that time, it could give you a few clues, the streets are in alphabetical order.

Sylvia, thank you for that suggestion.....should have thought of that myself...l know Fanny Millward had a son Ronald in 1925. that is all l know for sure..and if he went on to have children ,that age group you mentioned is about right....thanks a lot gives me something to go on....Brenda
