Type BT Directory,( phone directory) into a search engine, type Red and then wild cards, then Birmingham, this will bring up two pages of Redrearn/Redfern., someone mught help. There were Redfern's in Witton, a suburb of Birmingham in the 1940's/50's. George Redfern ran a fish and chip shop in Witton Road.
