Taylor - my great uncle

My great uncle was apparently beaten to death outside the Gospel Oak pub or the Dolphin pub in Acocks Green. Unfortunately I don’t know when but I’d hazard a guess it was the 50s or 60s. All I have is the name Fred. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks on where to find info.

I have looked for deaths of Frederick Taylor in 1950s and 1960s registered in Solihull and Birmingham.
There are 28. No idea which might be your great uncle. Do you have any vague idea how old he was?
I have tried searching newspapers but no obvious death appears. Sorry.

The National Archives has a Norman Taylor murder story in 1956 but it's a closed until 2035 file.

That was probably a case in county durham, where a Norman Taylor was a murderer
