I can find no trace of a Ruby Harris, or Beatrice Harris that would fit. The only Ruby or Beatrice Jelf entries in the 1911 census do not fit either.

Ive searched everywhich way I can think of and cant find this marriage either, nor can I find a birth for Ruby Beatrice..sorry

Could this be ' Ruby Beatrice's ' family in 1861? This the closest I'm able to find...

Hi! Hope u have received information on the Harris ancestors you are looking for. I also have ancestors named Harris, whom I cannot trace - do not know if they are linked to yours? Unfortunately all the HARRIS names are blocked out as I call them up - do not know why - but will try and find my notes and reply again at a later stage.

Hi Astonian,

Please note that it is a Frances B HARRIS rather than Ruby that has married a George JELF.
Frances B HARRIS may have been known to the family as Ruby.
It appears that Ruby JELF was their daughters name . She was born in 1926.

Good Wishes Bo
