it seems that stephen carried on the name butts but my side just used feeney
ive sent for the births of stephen and thomas hopefully the mother is feeney
i should be so lucky

regards rich

great, i hope it turns out well. let me know as it will be interesting. ive tried to find a marriage, buts butts finney feeney etc etc but no luck.

hi shera
got the births back mothers maiden name orton on thomas's horton on stephen's
so both births say surname butts both born at moore's row
so not sure were the feeney comes into it apart from the christenings
can i go into St Martins and get scans of the christenings coz they
are the only records were the name finney-butts is recorded
after that thomas drops butts just uses feeney and
stephen uses feeney butts and passes the name to his children and grandchildren

regards rich
