Long Street Off licence

This is labelled as an off-licence. Looks like a very large off-licence to me, more like a pub. It was at 26 Long Street. Sorry no date. Viv.

Around 1890 it is listed as a grocer. In the census of 190 & 1901 it is a beer retailer, but the head of the house is Alfred Rodway, an Editor and /historic costume designer (lot of references in newspaper archive), with his brother running the beer retail business. Not certain, but would tend to think it was just an off licence.
