LINDSAY WILLIAM - occupation Tailor

I'm trying to find out any information regarding my Great Grandfather, William Lindsay who was a tailor and lived in the Washford Heath? area of Birmingham in the 1930's/40's. He was originally born in Cockermouth and then lived in Northampton before moving to Birmingham.

Re: WILLIAM LINDSAY - occupation Tailor

From the electoral rolls:
William Lindsay lived at 658 washwood Heath road from 1920 – 1950
At that address, in addition to William there was:
1920 Annie Locker
1922 Annie Locker & mary Lindsay
1925 Annie Locker
1930 Annie & Francis Locker
1935 Annie , Winifred & Dorothy Locker
1939 Annie & Jessie Locker
1945 & 1950 Annie Locker
In 1955 william is with Elizabeth R.M. Lindsay at 80 Stechford road

Re: WILLIAM LINDSAY - occupation Tailor

I think the last entry for 1955 is a different William Lindsay..

William Lindsay is listed in Kellys as a tailor at 658 Washwood heath road 1932 – 1939. The (other) William Lindsay is listed as at 80 Stechford road a while before 1955
