The Ladies And Children Wear ,
It Was A Very Large Shop On The Lichfield Road Aston
Afew Shops Past Thompsons The Butchers
And In Them Days They Would Put Your Money In A Container
And It Would Wizz Over Your Head To The Head Cashiers
And Your Change Would Come Back That Way
I Remember Going To Fetch An Apron For My Mom
And I Think Its Size Then ,was Xox
I Got A Penny For Fetching That Well Pleased I Was
And I Went To Old Man Wetton ,s The Sweet Shop
Got A Couple Of Black Jacks And A Bottle Of Soda Water
It Was Surposed To Have Been Tizer With A Stone Screw On Top
Those Were The Days , When You Was Akid And The Days Was Long
You Thought Life Was An Eternity ,but By Gollywhen You Get Older ,you Reailize Life Aint That Long We Come And We Pass Through This Planet Like A Dose Of Salts
