Someone is selling this postcard on ebay. It shows Birmingham Library And Reading Rooms. Looks a grand place and can imagine the silence inside, but where was it and what happened to it?
 
I'm not certain, but I think it was in the vicinity of the present day Library, near the Chamberlain manorial fountain.
