Found this site whilst browsing observatory Pub - my grandfather Leslie Robottom ( born 1900 died 1964) lived there for a while after apparently running off with a bar maid? Formerly Yardley wood Rd/ Edgbaston Rd
 
Strange question - is your user name a coincidence or reference to Leslie's early address?
 
Coincidence, one of his homes is now a nursery , kids planet, both my mum and I both ran nurseries though - mum in Pershore Rd
