Lee Child

superdad3

master brummie
If you are a fan of the Jack Reacher books by Lee Child [aka James Grant] there is a free exhibition celebrating his work just opened at Grand Central, above Birmingham's New Street station. Opened by Lee Child himself to launch his 30th novel, called Exit Strategy. Open into December.

Thats amazing, just out of the blue, today my wife was talking to me about writers, she said, "did you know, all those books I've read by Lee Child, that he was a brummie" wow, how good are brummies

My manager at work was a big fan of the Jack Reacher books.
I must confess I didn't know the author was a Brummie at the time or I would have proudly boasted about it!

I'm sure I posted something about, being a brummie an all, but cant find it on the site.

Anyroadup, he was on Desert Island Disks this morning, so BBC Sounds will have now I've no doubt.

Interesting listen..........he has the strangest accent now

Thanks, Janice. Threads merged. Sometimes, for me, short words in thread titles won't show in search results. Shall add it to the short words search list. I use the list if I'm certain a thread exists, but all else fails in a search.
