Hi Rita, My late wife Enid Turville went to Lea Hall School, not the boys dept; she would have left age 15 in 1949, the family lived in Howden Place Glebe Farm, sorry, nearest I can get, bye Bernard

Thank you Derek. My hubby(Philip Peachey) lived in Kitts Green road, by the island the shops. He knew a Derek Williams, John Jeyes, Alec Mason, Ronnie Thompson, Bobby Burton, Alan Hunt to name but a few. Do you remember Eddie's Cafe by the island, or Wrensons.

Hello rita,
i used eddie,s cafe used to help the co-op milkman,
if it,s the jeyes from the meadway i used to have a paper round at beals lea hall rd and went to school with roy,
i knew terry fryer john barnfield and the rounds r casson t & c kettle and the litefoots,
happy days derek.
 
Ron & Graham Atkinson football players would have been pupils there about that time. Len.
