Lawson’s Motor-Wheel 1902 (from Who remembers)

Henry John Lawson’s base in the period of the Motor Wheel (1902) was in Coventry, which at the time was Britain’s main cycle- and motor-manufacturing centre.

Lawson had originally operated The Motor Manufacturing Company Ltd (MMC) and its predecessors from Holyhead Road, Coventry, a large works that had been built for cycle manufacture in the 1890s.
