Does anyone remember the Last Chance cafe on Lichfield Road?

Spent many a night in there or Smokey Joe's in the early sixties when me and my mate Mick used to hitch hike around the country. It was a good place to bum a lify if tou were heading Noth West, and Smokey Joes if you were going South East. No motorways in those days.

Remind me were it was, I used to work at Mavis's hairstylist by the Domestic. Was it up towards the cross or down towards the station?
 
It was on the corner of Lichfield Road and Waterworks St, the Church Tavern was on the opposite corner, well past the station going up towards Salford reservoir.
 
Not being a native of Aston, forgive me if I am wrong but I think I remember it was on the corner of Waterworks Rd on the left hand side going towards the reservior,

I Tried A Thread On Old Smokeys Last Year Or Two ,And Got No Responce, So I Presumed Noboby Had Ever Heard Of It ItS Now Nice ToSee Som body Still Out There
