British History Online gives this information about the school:

“LAKEY LANE COUNTY PRIMARY SCHOOL, Hall Green. Lakey Lane Council Sch. opened 1935 by Birm. C.B.C. Accom. 484 JI. Accom. 1961: 14 classrooms, hall”.

During WW2 the school was very active in subscribing to war savings.
