I've just found out about this site and I'm finding it fascinating. Such memories! We lived in Ladypool Road with my Gran, behind the barbers shop. I remember she cleaned 'Chinnies' the bookies across the road(Carl Chinn's Grandfather I believe).

nice to hear about the old ladypool rd do you recall when it was all tree lined down the rd
and do you remember trippas,s the cake and bake shop that was there the tripas was there for years
i will say one thing i would not go down there now and its completely useless trying to drive down there now
its sad to see how its deteriated in todays stannards ;
