does anyone remember Wallace Green in New Street a few doors down from Days Shoe Shop owned by my grandfather Wallace Green and then by my grandmother Kate. I would be interested to hear of their experiences if they do remember.:)

thank you for the thumprint of new street can just make out Wallace Green. Lots of memories myself about the shop, staff and going to buy shoes in Days! Anymore photos?

I had a friend working Hudsons in the 50s who got me good discounts on books. Can't remember her real name but we called her Hardcastle. Are you out there Hardcastle?
That's a Riley RM in front of Hudsons. I had one in the 70's (a 1947 version)
