does anyone remember Wallace Green in New Street a few doors down from Days Shoe Shop owned by my grandfather Wallace Green and then by my grandmother Kate. I would be interested to hear of their experiences if they do remember.

I had a friend working Hudsons in the 50s who got me good discounts on books. Can't remember her real name but we called her Hardcastle. Are you out there Hardcastle?
