Does anyone remember Brian and Nora Holland? They use to be regulars at the Kingshurst Labour club, and Brian use to drink in the pub opposite, what was Bunny's Fish & Chip Shop. My mom Barbara use to work in the chippie.

Hi, I grew up for the first 5 years of my life in Kingshurst, in one of the tower blocks up near the Lakeside club. Moved to Castle Bromwich around 83-84. My grandparents who I mentioned lived on a corner house right opposite Kingshurst park. I remember a church opposite also with a large, prominent green roof. Also bus stop right outside the corner plot house.
Moved away from Birmingham in 94. My mom was Barbara Holland. She had a brother David, and two sisters, Margaret and Susan. My grandad Bryan was a regular in the Mountford. Liked his pint of mild I recall and plenty of it.
If you know of any of the names of my mom's sisters I mentioned please let me know. Would like to try and locate them.
I was in a local band "Blue Water Diamond" we played regularly at the Kingshurst Labour club in the mid 70's, We all wore Blue shirts, hence the name, if anyone remembers us I would be glad to hear from you, Thanks
Hello , I lived in kingshurst way for a short while , Yorks Wood School and Kingshurst High School for boys , that was an eye opener, left Kingshurst to move to Sheldon around 1968.
I remember the park in Kingshurst and the Mountford Pub , also remember the shopping area , was it called the Parade?
